Presenting: dum da da DAAAAAAAH...Bumble Jumble Party!!!
<insert: applause, trumpet fanfare, laser light show, etc>
I know, we are just too good. :P (and yet, we can't manage to update our website with any sort of regularity. Go figure.)
Bumble Jumble Party is a party word game with levels to suit all ages. Play it with your kids (they won't realise it's educational, we promise), play it with your spouse (cause you're not trying to prove that your IQ is totally higher, or anything), play it with your whole family! It's challenging, it's addictive, and of course it's LOADS of fun. Because otherwise it'd defeat the purpose. Duh.
Starts and Ends With
The first and last letter of a word are displayed on the screen.
You've got until the timer runs out to yell out an answer, and collect the point.
If no one can come up with an answer, hit the too hard button and a suitable word and definition will be displayed.
Now, if you're playing with little ones, 3 letter words are allowed, but if you're adults, then Man Up and think of something more impressive than "dog" or "cat" for sobbing out loud.
In the Category of
A letter and category is displayed. You have to come up with a word starting with the given letter, that fits the category displayed to win the point. And we've come up with some tough categories, believe me.
It's size that counts
A random letter and a word length is displayed.
You have until the timer expires to come up with an answer starting with the given letter, and containing the number of letters displayed.
You think this is easy, don't you?
TRY IT. It's not!!
Highly educated, intelligent adults sitting around an ipad reduced to counting letters on their fingers, I tell you.
If no one can come up with an answer, then a suitable word and definition is displayed.
How? Well you see, included in the game download is a really REALLY smart bee with a ginormous vocabulary who likes to show off alot.
He'll give you an answer. Serious.
Mix it up
The game mode is selected at random at the start of each turn. This game mode will really make those neurones short circuit. Enjoy the madness of a mix of all 3 game modes!
Did we mention that because Bumble Jumble Party is EDUCATIONAL, you geeks out there can totally use it to justify the purchase of your ipad to your less-than-technologically-savvy spouse who doesn't for the LIFE of him/her understand why you spent all that money on a giant mp3 player when clearly it should have been spent on that thing you've been promising to do for ages. Like the backyard landscaping, for instance (poke to Mr Totalgeek from Dr-Mrs Totalgeek.)
